These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("Customer", "you") and Hlias Staurou, an individual operating from Athens, Greece ("Provider", "we", "us"), governing your use of the AetherCode Coder API and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing the Service, subscribing to any paid plan, or submitting an API request, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service provides an OpenAI-compatible HTTP API that generates source code in response to natural-language prompts. Generated output passes through a five-gate automated verification pipeline ("ATLAS Verifier") and an automated self-healing pipeline ("HYDRA-Heal") before being returned.
The Service is provided as a stateless, per-request API. No user-generated content is persistently stored beyond retention windows defined in the Privacy Policy.
The Service is distributed through the RapidAPI marketplace at rapidapi.com/hliasstaurou/api/aethercode-coder. Account registration, authentication, billing, payment processing, tax collection, and payout handling are performed by RapidAPI under RapidAPI's own Terms of Service. Your relationship with RapidAPI is separate from your relationship with us.
When you subscribe to the Service via RapidAPI, you agree to both these Terms and RapidAPI's Terms.
The Service is offered in multiple tiers with distinct monthly request quotas, per-minute rate limits, and overage pricing. Current plans are listed on the RapidAPI listing. Exceeding a plan's rate limit results in an HTTP 429 response; exceeding the monthly quota results in either overage billing (where applicable) or request rejection.
When a request produces code that fails all five ATLAS verification gates AND cannot be healed by HYDRA within the heal budget, the API returns HTTP 422 with billing_outcome: "refunded". Such requests are not billed. This is a commercial brand promise and operational feature, not a warranty regarding the functional correctness, suitability, or security of any code that is returned successfully.
You agree not to use the Service to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access of any account that, in our reasonable judgment, violates this section.
You retain all rights to prompts you submit ("Input") and to code we return to you ("Output"). By submitting Input, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process the Input for the sole purpose of generating and returning Output and operating the Service (including verification, healing, metering, and abuse monitoring).
We do not claim ownership of Output. We make no representation that Output is unique, copyrightable, or free of third-party claims. Output may resemble publicly available code that the underlying language models were trained on.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY THAT CODE RETURNED BY THE SERVICE IS FREE OF BUGS, SECURITY VULNERABILITIES, OR SUITABLE FOR PRODUCTION USE WITHOUT INDEPENDENT REVIEW.
The ATLAS verifier and HYDRA healer reduce the frequency of bad output but do not eliminate it. You must independently review, test, and validate any code before using it in production.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (a) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (b) ONE HUNDRED EUROS (€100).
IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability for consequential damages; in such jurisdictions the above limitations apply to the maximum extent permitted.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any third-party claim arising from (a) your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, (b) your violation of any applicable law, or (c) your use of Output returned by the Service.
The Service routes requests to one or more third-party language-model providers, including but not limited to DeepSeek, Google (Gemini), Moonshot (Kimi), OpenRouter, and self-hosted models. The identity of the upstream provider for a given request may be recorded in internal metering but is not guaranteed or exposed in the API response. We are not responsible for acts, omissions, outages, or policy changes by these third parties.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice (90 days for direct customers, 180 days for RapidAPI customers) before deprecating a publicly documented model or endpoint.
We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without notice, if you breach these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. Sections 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 13, 14, and 15 survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hellenic Republic (Greece), without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The courts of Athens, Greece shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms, subject to mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence where applicable.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be announced at least 30 days in advance when reasonably feasible.
